8 Current Sephora Faves & How You Can Get Cashback from ShopBack

Hello beautiful! It's been a while since I last posted on this space or even shared with you my recent beauty obsessions. I've got a little caught up with my day job (which I always do, my apologies), but things are getting better in no time and I'll be more present in the interweb very very soon.

In the mean time, here are 8 beauty items I'm addicted to which are available in Sephora.my, and stay till the end because I'm gonna share with you a little bit about how you can get exclusive deals and cashbacks (yes, cold hard cash, back into your pocket) when you shop for your favourite products in Sephora.

1. Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector
A light-reflecting cream in the perfect salmon pink colour to brighten up the darkest of under eyes. I use this every single day, right after my eye cream and before my foundation and concealer. It doesn't crease and looks impeccably natural compared to those baked under eyes using a concealer 3 tones lighter. You have my word for it, because if you watch my YouTube videos, you would know I have pretty bad bags and circles.

2. Fresh Seaberry Nutrition Booster
I use this on those days when my skin looks dull and tired, even though I've been using my skincare as per normal. I put 3 drops into my moisturiser, rub them between my fingers to mix the two into a miracle concoction for my face. The booster itself is an oil with a very light and fast-absorbing consistency that doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I would even apply it on its own without mixing as the very last step of my nighttime skincare regimen to seal everything in.

This pimple-vanishing solution is definitely a cult favourite and I'm sure you're no stranger to it as well. It contains salicylic acid and calamine (which makes up the pink bit at the bottom) to dry out spots while disinfecting them overnight. Be sure not to shake the bottle before use; dip a cotton swab to pick up the pink sediment and apply directly onto the acne. Tip: A little goes a long way!

Ahhh, the love of my life! If you're a makeup lover like me, I'm sure you'll have that few lip colours that always get you compliments, and this beauty right here falls under that category for me. It is the perfect pinky nude you can use on the daily in a matte-but-not-drying formula, glides on effortlessly without dragging or intensifying your dry lips. I've never tried this method myself, but I bet it'll look smashing if you use it as a blush on your cheeks as well.

Ok, this is technically not a current favourite because it's been my favourite since... I'd say 2013? Back in my Harper's Bazaar Malaysia days, I went for a Luxola (which eventually became the current Sephora.my) media luncheon and found this brush among the other amazing products in the goodie bag. But to be honest, I didn't fall in love with it immediately because I was always against the idea of applying foundation using a brush. Until I started watching Jaclyn Hill on YouTube religiously and saw her using the exact brush is when I decided to give the F80 a second chance. So, here's me begging you, please give it a chance, you won't regret it!

I'm not much of a blush girl I can tell you that, if anything, I'd lean toward an eyeshadow palette more than a blush palette. But being the makeup junkie that I am, I was still willing to give this a go, and that's when I realise I should never say never. This palette features a great variation of peach to rose-toned blushes, a matte bronzer and 2 highlight shades that are great for its versatility to be used on the cheeks or eyes, with a buttery formula that's out of this world. The sturdy packaging makes it absolutely durable for travelling too!

I've been on the hunt for that perfect maroon eyeshadow for the longest time but have always ended up with more of a reddish brown than anything. One fine day, I was gifted this little gem that didn't seem like much on the outside but once you open it up and swatch it on the back of your hand, it'll blow your mind, because it sure blew mine. Creamy, super pigmented, does not crease, easily blendable but still stays in place once it sets. It also comes in an array of colours and finishes that can be used in many ways. What more can you ask for?

8. Nudestix Sculpting Pencil
I'm considered a late adopter when it comes to Nudestix products but now that I've tried it for myself, I could very much understand the hype it's been getting in the beauty world. My favourite from Nudestix at the moment is the sculpting pencil with a highlighting concealer on one end and a cream contour on the other. The formula has just the right creaminess with a good blendability, but what I really really love about it is its travel-friendly packaging.
