September Faves *like finally

I'm back with my September favourites! It's been a busy month, though my agenda suggests otherwise, I felt like I was really busy with life which I no longer really remember much about.

But anyway, these are my beauty favourites for September, and I'm starting to think that this blog is slowly turning into a beauty blog.

1. Lierac Luminescence Illuminating Serum: Super light hence I use it only in the morning before makeup, makes my skin look extra bright and of course, luminous.

2. Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Alhambra: Subtly shimmered eyeshadow in champagne pink and champagne gold, gorgeous colour to be used as a base or on the centre of the lid. My daily makeup essential! And if you were wondering how I got my Nars products, it's because I'm awesome, and by awesome it means I work in a magazine company and the nature of the business is to work ahead of time, and good news for all ya'll, Nars is FINALLY opening a store in Pavilion in November so all you girls can get your hands on some Nars in probably less than a month!

3. Sephora Long Lasting Kohl Pencil in Pure White: If you follow me on Instagram, you should've known about my latest obsession - white liner on the lower waterline. Makes my eyes look extra big, bright and whole lot less tired. Though one thing I don't like much about this pencil is that you gotta use a light hand or it gets messy thanks to its super creamy texture. This is something you either love it or hate it, but I sure do love it. Great for highlighting brow bone and cupid's bow too!

4. L'Oreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Eye Essence: Been using this every morning before makeup to reduce puffiness and dark circles. Opt for an eye essence or serum to apply in the day time as an eye cream might go on too thick on the skin and makes applying foundation/concealer/eyeshadow a huge mess. Super great deal for a drugstore product as you only need somewhat less than a pea size for each eye.

5. Modelsown Artstix Duo Polish in Lilac Dream and Boogie Nights: I know this is a total summer hue but who makes the rules anyway? This colour is so cute and delicate, and I believe no persuasion is needed to let you girls fall in love with this nail polish as much as I do. Lilac on one end, purple glitters on the other, love the slim packaging as it fits in just about anything. One thing I don't like much about the lilac polish is that the consistency might get too thick during the applying process, but nothing a few drops of nail polish remover can't fix! You do know mixing polish remover can thin out thickened nail polish right?

6. Lip Ice Sheer Color: This thing isn't a recent favourite as I've been using it for years and it was out in the market for probably decades, I don't know, but this lip moisturiser goes on clear but changes colour according to your body temperature that best suits you, and it doesn't come off even after slices of greasy pizza. The colour can turn as pink as the picture below, perfect for a gradient lip-do!

7. Nars Sheer Lipstick in Barbarella: Perfect peachy nude shade with a sheer and glossy finish, need I say more? I prefer dabbing away the glossiness with my fingers though, shinny lips ain't my thang. I use this as an overall base, dab away the glossiness, then apply the Lip Ice Sheer Color mentioned above focusing on the inner part and centre of the lips, and voila! Quick and easy ombre lips on-the-go.

Swatches (second picture is a disaster, my apologies):

The Lip Ice Sheer Color on a tissue paper after I wiped it off my hand.

So there you go, this was my September favourites, hope it helped or inspired you in any way :)

Have a great weekend!
