PhatCulture's Muse of the Month

***Read until the end for exciting offer, exclusively for G&G readers!

Hi dolls! Yes, today I'm finally blogging about my exciting collaboration with Phat Culture, which I've mentioned in my previous post and Instagram.

Just a quick brief on Phat Culture; it is an online boutique, catering fashion goods from clothing to accessories such as shoes, bags, and other fashion necessities. Their products are very affordably priced I must say, and don't think cheap prices can't get you any trendy or high quality goods, their pieces are really fashionable and in good quality, great for those who likes mixing and matching. Phat Culture also carries products with different styles, whether you're a girly girl, an edgy rocker, hipster or a wild child, you're bound to find pieces on PhatCulture.com that suits you the best.

I had the honour to become Phat Culture's first ever Muse of the Month (August), which they've officially announced on their Instagram.

For this project, I had the chance to visit their concept store and pick out absolutely anything from their entire collection, and style myself in 2 different outfits that represents my personal style.

Look 1: Rainforest Chic

For the love of my lady-like, formal wear addiction, and in order to implement some summer elements, I came up with this first look that I absolutely adore. I love how the tropical colours on the dress is loud yet subtle, able to make a statement on its own but not overwhelming. The length is just perfect for my height too.

I layered on a cream chiffon blazer for an extra dose of formality, a jewelled necklace, and pair of nude heels to elongate my legs, which I desperately need.

Mary Jane Pumps

Look 2: School of Rock

I went for something a little bit younger and edgier for my second look as you can see. I love getting the balance between lady-like and boyish, formal and casual; which in this case, I managed it by pairing the sheer gem embellished collar shirt with a pair of high-waisted spiked shorts, and black booties, along with a loose chains necklace for that punch of rock & roll.

I love how accessories can change up your entire outfit, especially with wardrobe staples like a white shirt and denim shorts, this is exactly how I trick people into thinking that I'm wearing a totally different outfit, just by changing up the accessories, well at least I think I tricked them.
