Haze Craze

It's been a real gloomy few days for all of us in Malaysia I believe, due to no other than the haze issue caused by the forest burning in Indonesia. A lot of people around me fell sick, even I myself suffered from excruciating sore throat and phlegm build-ups.

Now, since none of us are able to do anything about this, we might as well get ourselves prepped for another few days, or weeks, or worst case scenario - months - of this madness.

Here's my list of 10 Must-Haves in my ultimate Haze Survival Kit:
1) Face Mask (duh); N95's are the most ideal ones but I'm pretty darn sure that no one can get them in stores anymore, so I guess surgical mask, or any mask actually, is the best we can do right now.

2) Eyedrops; for those with sensitive eyes that get teary by being exposed to the haze, for maximum comfort.

3) Lots and lots of H20!

4) Fresh fruits; especially those with high dose of Vitamin C, like orange or kiwi to boost your immune system.

5) Breath mints or chewing gum; to fight those bad breaths caused by increased heatiness of your body.

6) Facial cleanser; make sure to remove all the dust particles sticking to your face when you get home, especially if you were out all day. I like to use Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque, for that squeeky clean sensation.

7) Opt for a lightweight foundation/tinted moisturiser/BB or CC cream; make sure to not suffocate your skin with cakey and thick make-up, especially during this bad weather, which could lead to acne breakouts.

8) Cleansing mask; don't forget to purify and unclog those pores!

9) Hydrating and soothing mist; to calm and refresh your skin, perhaps your mind too?

10) Make-up setting spray; don't let your make-up slip and slide in this stuffy and steamy weather.

Now that we're all geared up, let's pray for this nightmare to be over as soon, we want our fresh (maybe not so fresh, but anything is better than this) air back!

Stay healthy, loves <3
