Little Innoscents Products Review

Not too long ago, Little Innoscents reached out to me and sent me a bunch of their products to try out, and potentially share my thoughts about them on the internet. Before this encounter, I have never heard of their brand but forgive me as I'm still considered a rookie at motherhood. Yet when they highlighted the fact that they are an organic brand created by a fellow mom from Australia, it sparked my interest and I decided to give Little Innoscents a go.

I can't say that I'm a full "organic" convert, but I try my best to give Bradley (my son) the purest and most natural as I possibly can. Knowing that all Little Innoscents products are carefully selected to be gentle for my baby and me (yes! they have amazing products for the moms too!), which is ideal for eczema prevention and other skin allergies, I feel at ease when using them on my baby's delicate sensitive skin.

My Pregnancy & Birth Story

*Long ass, wordy, picture-less post up ahead. Proceed with caution.*

To be honest, I was a little hesitant to write this post because I feel like my pregnancy journey and delivery process were uneventful, as in it was very smooth, nothing out of the ordinary (thank god). But I still decided to write it anyway, because who knows? Maybe it'll serve as a peace of mind for those of you out there who think having a baby is an absolute nightmare.

Pre-CNY Hair Pampering Session at A Cut Above

My last visit to a hair salon was right before my wedding back in late September 2016, and ever since I got pregnant, I have less reasons to get my hair professionally done because 1) I've stopped colouring my hair due to how costly it is to maintain; 2) I'm trying to leave my hair long again just because I've missed it.

But still, Chinese New Year is fast approaching and I wanted to give myself a nice little treat that isn't a haircut or chemical treatment, yet also safe for pregnant women like me. So when A Cut Above offered me a complimentary pampering session, I jumped at the opportunity immediately.

Taipei Food Diary

Falling more in love with this city every time I visit.

Funny story. When I was 26 weeks pregnant (I'm currently in my 30th week), my doctor advised me to cut down on unnecessary calories because my baby was a little overweight (just on the higher end of the normal spectrum).

So even though I was still able to eat a lot of the Taiwanese delicacies during this trip, behind all the yummy food pictures was me laying out a powerpoint presentation to convince my husband to let me order an extra side and listening to his nagging, or just sneakily eating out with my friends while he was away.

Zalora 12.12 Try-On Haul

I did a little shopping like how I always do at the end of the year. I don't know why, but I think all the holiday spirit and year end sales everywhere is making me feel extra spendy. Also, Chinese New Year is a great excuse to purchase new clothes. Ha!

Since I love talking about things I'm obsessed with, and obviously I am obsessed with every single item I bought on Zalora the other day, I decided to film a video just showing you guys the stuff I spent my money on.

What's in My Chloé Faye Backpack?

Hello angels! I've been missing for quite a while from all the travelling I'm trying to squeeze in before the baby comes, but I have a solid week back home before I head off again to Taipei for my last pregnancy travels, so I managed to record a brand new video for my dead YouTube channel.

What better way to get back into the swing of things than a chilled out, chatty "What's in My Bag" tag? The bag in topic is the Chloé Faye Backpack and I got this beauty when I went to London late November as an early birthday/Christmas treat, which was also partially sponsored by the hubby (thanks love!).

I'm Pregnant!

31 July 2016
Yeap, as you can see from the title, Guy and I are expecting a baby!

If you don't know who Guy is, or never even knew that I had a significant other, here it is: "Guy" is his "stage name", his real life name is something along the line of "Jesse", so you might've heard me mentioning this name on my Snapchat or videos, but essentially, Guy and Jesse are both the same person (though I prefer to use the name Guy on my blog), and he is my boyfriend of more than three years.

I'm writing this on 31 July in Taipei because I'm not supposed to announce the news until my second trimester, but I want to jot everything down while the memory is still fresh in my mind.
